When I suddenly became a single parent, I wasn't ready for
it. For me it was a divorce after 10 years of marriage.
For others, it maybe death of a spouse or an unplanned
pregnancy. No matter how you got here, as a single parent, we
all face many of the same issues. This website is designed and
intended to be a resource for you.

What it is............
If you are a single parent in NC then you've found your little
corner of the world. This page is meant to be a resource for
single parents in the Triangle Area of North Carolina. This is a
Christ-centered environment, that welcomes all single parents
regardless of religion, race or background. This is not a forum
for arguing theological or racial differences, just simply a resource
for single parents who often struggle just to make it through the day.
We are a for-profit company.
What it isn't............
This is not the effort of one person. This is the combination
of the efforts and experience of people who either are single parents
or who have a burden to help single parents. This is not an
evangelical platform, but a resource for all single parents. If
you see something different in my life, or someone else's life, and
want to know more then feel free to ask.
What is here?
The website has two major sections. The first section
contains the
discussion forums. These forums cover a wide variety of
issues and are a living document that is created and maintained by the
participants. Click
here to visit the forums.
The second section is a
resource that includes things like:
- articles written by single parents about their experiences and
what they have learned
- how-to articles designed to help single parents
- listings of classes and support groups in the Triangle area
- listings of church and secular activities and groups of interest
- links to other websites of interest to single parents
What is acceptable?
This is a family-friendly zone.
