No Ultimate Loss

It all began one day,
When the Sovereign Lord had to say:
"Let there be light."
Then there became day and night.

Then He created the sky,
How beautiful this must have been to the eye!
Next He created dwellings for his creatures-land and seas!
He planned it all out form huge whales to small bees.

Following this, He created the sun, moon, and stars;
He even created the planets and our red Mars.
The next day, He created those in the sea.
Each according to their kind that they might be free.

Even there our God did not quit,
Not until the seventh day did he rest or sit.
He created those that could fly,
He allowed them to soar up in our beautiful sky.

Then on the sixth day, he created every kind of beast,
But with irrationtal creatures he did not cease-
He aslo included a perfect man,
But later from good and into wickedness he ran.

However, the man called Adam needed a mate
So God created a woman (who later altered mankind's fate).
He said it was all good once He was done.
He had created a wonderful world under and wonderful sun.

Unfortunately, however sweet this may be,
And hopefully you soon shall see,
That this is not where the story wil end.
The problems that arose took long to mend.

God put Adam and Eve in a garden,
It was called the garden of Eden.
It was a most perfect and wonderful place,
And it was compromised of everything with its own space.

Adam and Eve were perfect and they walked with God.
They lived perfectly, so there was no need for a rod-
Or at at least until they disobeyed the Lord;
After that, God had to guard Eden with a sword.

God gave Adam one rule they must follow-
The fruit on one tree they must not swallow.
But Sated tempted unsuspecting Eve
And all of humanity was in trouble because she was deceived.

After she ate because of that cruel snake,
She gave some to Adam, it put all of humanity at stake!
Then God had to kick them out of that holy place.
And on our dirty earth, where they had to continue a sinful race.

Their offspring in number became great.
But they had fallen into an excessively corrupt state,
Every person was completely evil and twisted-
The number of righteous on earth could be easily listed!

But Noah was a man upright in heart
And he was chosen to play an important part.
He would save his family and some animals from a flood,
But all the other evil persons would drown in water and mud.

So God told Noah to build a big boat.
And put 2 of every animal on it-from ants to goats.
The big boat was then called an ark.
On our history, it has left a huge mark.

He told Noah to gather seven of each clean land animal kind,
But for this arduous task, God put it in those animal's minds,
To come, because rain was coming, so that they shall be saved,
However, the people didn't come, so a terrible end they paved.

Noah was on the ark for 150 days and nights,
Imagine that, all he saw were the same boring sights.
Since they were on the boat that long-
When they got off, Noah worshiped God with his own type of song.

After it all dried up there was no one alive,
Except for those on the boat and those that did dive.
God made a promise by putting a rainbow up in the sky-
He said that by flood never again would the whole earth die.

The world once again with life did it restore;
With bugs that bite, birds that sing and lions that roar.
However, the people still sinned once again,
But because of laws it was not as wicked as it had once been.

Even though the people sinned no where near as before,
Because of their sin, to heaven they still needed a door.
But God planned a way for us to be saved,
Jesus became that perfect door, and our way to heaven he paved.

Jesus was God's son who came and lived on earth,
And he came by the way of a virgin birth.
He was born in the little town of Bethlehem,
As for his family tree, King David was his stem.

He grew in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and man,
And we should try to represent our Savior as best we can.
Its hard though, because he lived a completely perfect life,
And He died for us, He died for me and you with horrible strife.

While he lived on earth, he healed the lame and the blind,
And with His wonderful love He transformed and transforms many person's minds.
He did many amazing things we couldn't imagine.
He was tempted like we are today, but never once did he sin.

He could quote the Old testament Bible very well,
And likewise on our Bibles we should dwell.
Jesus made a way for us to have God as our friend,
And we can understand that He is with us to the very end.

Jesus walked on the water, fed five thousand men,
Plus he fed to the fill many women and children..
He did this all with five loaves and two fish,
He fed about ten thousand with one little boy's dish.

During his ministry, Jesus taught us very much,
Of His divinely inspired teachings were such-
Love your enemy, pray for those who persecute you,
Love God with your all, and to all others good you shall do.

He also told us that we needed to be born again,
Born by the Holy Spirit of God, not by our women.
We can not conform to the pattern of those around us,
And to be a living sacrifice for God we must.

We must follow the pattern set by Jesus our Savior.
His love for us was so strong he made himself a door,
For us to get to heaven and live with God, he died in great pain,
And now we should allow the Holy Spirit in our lives to reign..

Right before he died he was betrayed by Judas his friend.
His life came to a very treacherous and terrible end.
They whipped him and mocked him and put a crown of thorns on his head,
But up on the cross, He asked God to forgive them by what he said.

You see, God sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to die for you and for me,
So that from now on, when we Christians die, God we will see!
But this tale of love and sacrifice will not end just quite yet,
And this story, even after the end of our world, will never set.

You see, after three days in the tomb Jesus rose from the grave!
So those who wanted it can be from eternal damnation saved.
Now Jesus's death and ressurrection is completed in me and you,
Because when you ask him into your heart, you life in Christ becomes new!

Tell everyone that Jesus Christ died and rose from the grave,
And to everyone who believes and confesses life Jesus gave
When He died that most painful death on the cross,
So that those who believe may suffer no ultimate loss
